The collaboration between the University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR) and the Advanced Technologies Application Center (CENATAV) continues to drive innovation in speech and language technology. As part of this collaboration, Professor José Ramón Calvo from CENATAV is currently on secondment at UNIZAR. His work focuses on advancing tools and methodologies for analyzing speech features in under-resourced tasks, contributing to the development of the THALENTO database
Professor Calvo’s expertise will strengthen efforts to design algorithms and systems for detecting and classifying speech and language disorders. By leveraging the THALENTO corpus and other existing resources, this research aims to enhance the accessibility and efficiency of speech technologies worldwide.
This collaboration underscores the importance of international partnerships in addressing global challenges in health and technology.
